International tactical groups worked out the first block of training elements while going to sea.

Transfer of cargo, towing of an emergency vessel and disembarkation of inspection teams, formation of orders of ships, navigation in formations, signal production and control of civil navigation are on the main list of exercises performed before the second part of the sea component – free play.

Also, just at the exit from the base point, the element of repelling the attack of high-speed small boats was practiced, and in the corresponding range – artillery fire on surface and air targets.

Traditionally, in international tactical groups, the leadership of various training elements is distributed among the participants alternately. For the second time in such large-scale maneuvers, the flagship of the Maritime Guard “Hryhorii Kuropiatnykov”, entering the tactical group with powerful representatives of the NATO Navy – the destroyer of the US Navy “Ross”, the patrol ship of the Royal Navy OPV “Trent”, the corvette of the Romanian Navy “Contra-Amiral Horia Macellariu”, the corvette of the Bulgarian Navy “Bodri” – led such strategic episodes as firing, repulsing an attack on ships, as well as typically border elements such as control of civil shipping and signal production.

The Maritime Guard ship “Podillia” performed a similar list of exercises in the tactical group with the Georgian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but in other areas of the Black Sea.

At the same time, the planned elements are being worked out on the Danube. Given the significant strategic importance of the largest navigable river in the region and the constant deployment of maritime border guards there, their role in providing initial action and readiness, both for operational counteraction on their own and for providing support to other military formations, is extremely important.
